Hébert Piano Service 

Blaine Hébert was born in southern Lousiana's Cajun country to a family of piano technicians. Accompanying his father and grandfather to tunings since early childhood he has studied and serviced pianos most of his life.
Following high school he apprenticed under Steinway trained technicians in the service and rebuilding shop of Whittle Music Company of Dallas, Texas, then began work with his father in the Dallas area, eventually moving his business to Southern California.

He has worked throughout the Southern California area and his clients include music stores, colleges, music schools, hotels, musicians and teachers. Blaine is a Yamaha certified technician, has received Yamaha Concert Instrument training and is a Registered Piano technician (RPT) with the Piano Technician's Guild (PTG). He is a former National Service Manager for the largest piano importer in the US (Samick).

Blaine specializes in repairs and restoration of modern and historic keyboard and violin family instruments and is also an expert on insects infesting pianos and museum collections and their eradication.  He holds a Master’s Degree in Science from Cal State University, Northridge.
Though his service area includes most of Los Angeles County he works primarily in the San Gabriel Valley area.
